I got the centerpoint tormentor whisper for Christmas because the price was right and I wasn't looking for an expensive crossbow. This crossbow shoots unbelievable I ordered centerpoint bolts with lighted nocks and also purchased rage crossbow 2 blade tips and let me tell you this was amazing. After making sure at 20 yards I was shooting the bullseye out of the target I went out to 30 yards and it hit dead center all 3 times I shot. Then it was time for the real test 40 yards it also hit dead center so I to out the deer target and put it right in the 10 ring....this crossbow is well worth the money...the only thing I upgraded was the scope and only because it was a Christmas gift...I put the UTG crossbow scope on for 58 dollars

January 2018 I purchased a 380 Optics Planet after handling my friends, all I did was upgrade the scope of a SA Sport 550 illuminated and a kwikkee kiver, it sat collecting dust cause my back issues improved so I stayed with my Mathews compound. Then about a month ago I went to draw on a nice buck and I felt a pop on my upper back same area I have issues, that told me it was time to dust off the 380.

That evening I spoke to my friend and asked him which bolts to get, set up and sighted in needed to be done within a few days I wanted to hunt Friday of that week. He said he got his bolts from South Shore Archery, well time wasn't on my side....He said get a bolt with half moon nock, thats 325 grains with 3" vanes......I was going to a local chain Sporting Goods store for my kid's basketball sneakers, so went into the hunting section and saw the bolts with the specs I needed, Victory Decimators, 6 for $20.00 on sale.....Ok lets try them. Well I must say they shot like darts I was very surprised, what was more surprising is my friend said shoot my custom bolts, from 10, 20, 30, 40 yards they shot no different then my bolts..this crossbow is priced friendly and with my added upgrades, bolts and even Rage Hypodermics I paid a total of less then $500, and I'm shooting darts....I could afford a $2000 crossbow, but who am I kidding I will never take a shot over 50 yards on game, in fact my limit would be 40 yards, and this crossbow is deadly !!! would have been a five but after sighting in at 10 yds ruing two bolts at 20 went with x bolts by victory very quite crossbow changed the target spot to save bolts first day of crossbow season took a really nice buck second day nice doe

This was a gift for a friend. After assembly (took a while) we were amazed at the quietness of the weapon. I was a bit disappointed with the bolts that came with it, but new bolts are easy to come by. Sighting in took quite a few turns on the knobs, but once sighted in the bow shot very tight groupings. The axle-to-axle length is surprisingly short. Had some difficulties getting it cocked a few times, as the auto safety would not engage. Another feature I found I liked is how relatively light the crossbow weighs. Although I already own 2 other crossbows, I would consider buying one of these.

Great crossbow! Very easy to put together, easy to sight in. Very accurate. It's compact and quieter than a lot of crossbows that I have shot. Would recommend buying new bolts, the 3 that come with it are just about worthless.
