Bushmaster's Review of Eberlestock 2.0 Trinity Peak Jacket

Purchased this jacket on the sister site DVOR. I’m 5’10” and 225 and between a 34-36 waist depending on my level of fitness. Typical “dad bod”. Once yoked, not so much any more but still carrying some “girth”. I generally run between a large and extra large jacket wise, depending on the cut. This jacket has a very athletic cut/fit to it. To me the XL fits more like a L. I would need very thin layers underneath if I wanted to layer up in the winter.

I bought this more as a waterproof/ breathable shell but it’s a bit heavier than a stand alone hard shell. There a light liner that feels almost neoprene like which may prove too warm for summer use. The jacket has underarm vents and side vents that open though the pockets. The pockets are definitely non traditional and sit high and open from top to bottom. With the thin athletic fit of the jacket there is not much room in the pockets and if you had the pockets and vents open I wouldn’t put anything in for fear of losing it. Lastly, the “black” is definitely a “midnight blue”.

I had it out in 48 degree weather with a moderate to heavy rain. It I completely waterproof and seemed to breathe well. The hood is great and had many small adjustments to get the fit that you want.
