Laser bore sights this small are not going to be the brightest and far reaching lasers. I knew this coming in. But if you choose to do your sighting at night or in darker surroundings, this is perfect. Bore sighting is the best way to set your laser sight or scope. This is a way for a non-expert to set the sights on a laser sight or a scope. I used this on my new 1911 and it worked great. I installed it then set it at night. When I went to the range it was perfect. I don't expect bore sights lasers to be that robust. They are small and are operated by mini-batteries. But this one works well for the money.
