Updated Galco Corvus w/ tlr1 review
I wanted to update my previous review. I have been in contact with Galco and they are working on the issue with the rubber on the tlr1 battery closing cap making contact with the holster. However, I will say that the generation 5 Glock comes with a picatinny size rail and not a Glock size rail (gen 4). The streamlight ships with a standard Glock rail installed and I figure that it was the appropriate fit for the attachment. This was not the case and allowed the light more movement on the frame when using with the holster. It did not destroy any function of the rail system. I switched out the rail and it fits appropriately. We will see what Galco comes up with in regards to the rubber making contact with the holster- this I believe, is still a design flaw.
Pros:
- good customer service
- Good quality kydex
Cons:
- Not molded correctly
Would recommend: No
Glock corvus w/ tlr 1
The holster is not molded correctly. The rubber closing cap on the tlr 1 is dragging through the holster causing friction and the light attachment is moving on the Glock frame. There is some wear on the Glock frame and you can see the rubber closing cap is wearing away like an eraser on a pencil. Will have to find a new holster. This was purchased through optics planet but I’m sure I will have to take up any issues with galco.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Incorrect molding
