Decent performance at an elevated price - Galco Middle Of Back Holster

The loose hold this holster has on the belt allows it to move around more than I like: up/down, sideways and rotationally. This results in a number of different locations and positions when reaching for and removing the weapon. I prefer a more snug arrangement. The holster fits my 45 very well and break in was a breeze. The thumb-break snap is well designed with lockup and break both giving positive tactile feel. The belt clip material is a thermoplastic that could use another few mils thickness. It is fairly flexible which contributes to the movement described earlier. A thicker clasp would provide more stability and a longer life. I think the price for this holster is north of the value delivered, but Optics Planet had the best price I could find.
Pros: Well made with good fit and finish
Cons: Needs better waistnband retention design & tougher belt clip
