Set retension screws for firm retention or the top mag will fall out while bending over to load gear into a bag, kneeling over something or crawling into the back of a truck etc. Polymer mags may work better. If you use a 6P with the aluminum checkered tube you will have extreme difficulty removing it quickly with screws set firmly, so use Galco's holster ease or glycerine to smooth out the inside. I now use it with a Scorpion light (slightly smaller dia tube). Also I had to blue loctite the screws again as they will rotate on extraction and insertion--the factory dab of loctite didn't hold them. Overall a good light-duty rig for office work and everyday carry once the quirks are corrected. I no longer need my tie-downs because the extra weight of the light balances the rig so well--a big convenience--and it is only marginally longer than my old two-mag vertical puoch. The mags are a little easier to reach too, I had no problem shooting our standard qual course against a timer.
Pros: Shoulder rig is way better balanced
Cons: Retention is quircky with SIG 229 mags and 6p
