What I like about this bipod is that I can pull the legs out up to 27 inches. It allows me to sit on the ground and be high enough to see over the grass in the field in front of me. And if I want I can drop it down to 12 inches. If you loosen the sling mounting screw it also allows you to tilt the gun if on oneven ground. It seems to be built tough enough
