I have this bi-pod mounted to a 25/06 rem to use taking deer off of crop damage permits here in Ohio. I have had this particular one on a 270 win, 308 win, and a 45/70 govt for a short while. It has held up to 10+ years of abuse and all kinds of recoil. rain, sun, snow, dust, dirt, etc... you'd never know it. I like the 3 piece legs as I am a tall guy anyway, the first bed is the right height for prone shooting. (my position of choice for obvious reasons) Just flip the legs down and you're ready to go. A pull on each leg snaps them into the tallest position and it's JUST tall enough for kneel/crouch/seated shots. I've taken them all with this bi-pod and I expect it will keep serving me well for another 10+. Do yourself a favor and do not buy a $25 bi-pod to put under a rifle you will depend on to make critical shots. Hunting/practical/tactical/..., you'll not be sorry you spent the extra dough. Save those cheap-O's for the .22 plinkers, that's what they are for. Harris is a great company making great products. Made in USA.
Pros: Quality, made in USA
Cons: Price
