Terrible mounting strategy. poor rear optic. - HiViz Four In One Front and Rear Illuminated Shotgun Sight

I purchased this to use on my 10ga shotgun for both geese and turkey hunting. When mounting the front sight, there are two screw holes (one forward, one rearward) which likely requires you to have to drill-tap your rail. If you don't want to do that, you're given a completely inadequate double-sided tape to use in addition to the forward screw. This results in a terribly poor an unreliable mount and that is under ideal thermal conditions (not even after having fired the gun and got the barrel hot). Moving onto the rear sight, the way that you run the screws and somehow expect them to be secured in the tiny piece of metal they give you is ridiculous. There is no way that this would possibly hold up in the field. Did they not consider the vibration/force exerted in a shot? There's no way that 1/64" retention is going to hold up. Even when it was mounted, the fiberopic is quite dim on the rear but is somewhat helped by the one on the front (which requires a totally different setup in this configuration). Overall, far too complicated and poor of a design. I'm returning it and going with the Champion Easy Hit Sight. Best sight for the money period.
