Nice wood ;] - Hogue S&W J Frame Round Butt Handgun Grip, Pau Ferro Checkered 60301

Another fine product from Hogue! I use Hogue grips on nearly all of my firearms and have NEVER been disappointed. This item is almost the exception, in that it does not fit my S&W .22LR AirLite Model 317 J frame revolver perfectly. This is the only Hogue grip that this is the case for, and it's because the geometry of the AirLite 317 frame is ever so slightly different. The grip fits very well and I will definitely be keeping these on this revolver, but at the base of the back strap where the wood meets the metal, there is a shelf left on the grip as the butt rounds in just a bit. I MAY in the future get some wood work done to it to perfect the finish, that's how happy I am with these grips!
Despite this minor issue I would recommend these to anyone wanting a great looking, better feeling, more ergonomic grip with slightly more girth.
