Poor quality - Hogue Monogrip Rubber Handgun Grips Ruger SP101 81000

Would have been a 5-star review as the grip fits my hand very well, if only I could install it. But Hogue's "patented" spring steel swivel that attaches to the bottom of the revolver frame doesn't sit square when the grip is in place. This means the retaining screw will not align with the threads in the spring steel doohickey. So it will not tighten beyond a quarter turn. I don't want to cross thread the screw and ruin the doohickey so I'm left with a grip that won't install on my Ruger SP101. As for Hogue's "warranty" it basically says all guns are different so they don't guarantee the grip will work.
