What I like most about this block is the modified set-screw instead of a roll pin for holding the gas tube in place. No matter how many times I've installed a gas tube, I usually end up screwing up at least one roll pin getting the gas tube mounted to the block.

The screw in pin that holds the gas tube is so much easier.

That being said... I have yet to see if it's as reliable as a roll pin.

  • Easy installation, no roll pin
Cons:
  • Hoping it holds up over time
Best Used for:
  • People who hate roll pins
