Laser max spartan - LaserMax Spartan Adjustable Rail Mounted 5mW Red Laser Sight

I have another Green Laser from another manufacturer which I like and this one was purchased for a .45 Springfield Operator for home defense. My 70 year old eyes aren't too good with sights and lasers are a godsend to me. It mounts easily and it is bright and visible in daylight. One issue that caused me to give it a 4 star rating is the lack of a turn off switch. A minor flaw but it would be handy to make sure it doesn't turn on in the gun case on the way to the range. Green lasers seem to eat up batteries. The ambidextrous paddle control switch is great. Grip switches are OK but it always seems I need to take an awkward grip to keep the laser on. This switch puts the control where you can turn it on with your trigger finger as you pick up the weapon and it stays on. It helps with proper trigger finger placement as you draw the pistol - off of the trigger. It also permits you to access the blinking laser with the paddle switch.
