Large gaps and doesn't align with leapers utg front sight - Leapers UTG AR15 Super Slim Fixed Rear Sight, Picatinny

I purchased this rear sight and the front sight that it is designed to work with which I reviewed separately. I had more of an issue with the front sight but I'm not thrilled with the rear either. There is a large gap between the front of the aperture base and the mounting base, and the aperture base sits twisted because of the gap. Spring tension keeps it all from wiggling, but I've never seen a mil-spec style rear sight with so much play in it. It works but I expected a tittle more quality. Also I need to have it elevated quite a bit to zero with the utg front sight, I have the front post all the way down and still have the rear aperture elevated 1/8" which I'm sure is making the problem worse. I purchased this sight set because I wanted a set of fixed iron sights that were decent without spending a couple hundred dollars. I know they are on the cheaper end but they aren't a 20$ amazon set either, I expected a little better quality than what I got based on other UTG products I've purchased before but this time I was disappointed. Bottom line, I would not recommend this product. I wish I would have spent a little more money.
