Easy on easy off with quick release mounting rings. Great sight picture and easy to adjust. Perfect for this or any scout rifle. Excellent quality and worth every penny. Leupold makes some of the best scopes and this one is no exception. I'm very happy with it , and it looks great on my ruger gunsite scout.308.
