Rcx firmware in serious need of help - Leupold 8 Megapixel RCX-1 Trail Camera

I mistakenly went to a few trail cam review sites before I saw any of the "actual customer reviews" on this camera.
Although it takes very nice day time images nice enough for an 8X10 enlargement, the functionality of the unit is inconsistent at best.
Yes. I foolishly bought 2 of these things. One of the units only sees the camera "when it feels like it", the preview doesn't work at all and when it crashes, the LEDs flash constantly for about a minute or 2. At night when triggered the LEDs flash but no image is recorded. In video mode, Day time works, night time doesn't when camera is triggered, again the LEDs flash. Until Leupold straightens out their firmware, keep away from the RCX series at all costs.
Pros: The Daytime still images are stellar!
Cons: Night imaging doesn't work & controller can't always see camera
