Midwest industries micbuis combat fixed rear sight ar-15 - Midwest Industries MICBUS Top Mounted Fixed Iron Sight

I really like these sights, they seem robust, and well made. My only beef with them is, the apertures are not consistent from rear sight to rear sight. You can buy two or three of these, and the apertures are not same in dimension with the large circle aperture. The small hole apertures seem fine. Midwest needs to be more consistent. Some of the larger ghost rings will be thicker on one side than the other, and its supposed to be like that so when you flip to the large, it retains zero with the amount it turns on threads when its flipped. The problem is, they are not all the same. They should have quality so good, they are cookie cutter copies of each other. It plays with your eyes if you have OCD for that kind of stuff. Kind of like you have three duplex scopes and all are same make/model, but each reticle in each scope has a different line thickness. Midwest should work on this. They never got back with me in e-mail still to this day, so I sent the out of spec ones back to optics planet for refund. I would think they would address the issue, and I would still recommend them to try, but check it out before you just put it to use. It sure is a waist of time having to send this stuff back. Not optics planet fault. I'm a Midwest fan, but this matter needs improvement.
