Bulbs are bulbs but these were for my many AA MagLites. I always like taking a new pack of spare bulbs (besides the spare in the flashlight itself)when backpacking alone over several nights. New bulbs seem to be much brighter than the older used bulbs. Okay, okay, so I am afraid of the dark.
Pros: Very bright when new.
Cons: Dims as they get older and more used.
