The alpha is a great scope, Glass is clear, eye relief generous, and reticle is functional. Lighter than it’s close cousin, G3- it lacks the illuminated reticle option. I own both and I would say that the turret clicks on the alpha are mushy in comparison to the G3. Both hold zero and provide an ultra clear view just the same.

Cons:
- mushy clicks
Best Used for:
- Up to 100 yards, plinking.
