i am very pleased with my purchase. i am glad that this kit came with the extra mounting sheeve. i have mounted it to the outside of my bug out bag. that would make it a open carry knife in any state. The problem I do have is that Florida will not accept this knife without a carry permit. it is 4.3" long, and anything over 4" has to have a carry permit. it does not matter whether you open carry it or conceal it. All the stated I travel thru from Indiana to Florida are ok with the knife but not Florida, where I will be vacationing. I am very ok with the knife. It holsters with a click for carry, or just rests inside the sheeve if you are extracting and pulling it frequently. The carbon steel blade is beautiful. i cannot comment on camping with it yet, but i do not expect any disappointments.
