saz's Review of Nalgene Stainless Bottles
It is a very well made bottle. The cap is cleverly attached so it can be removed to cook or boil water but will not come off by accident. There is a solid rim just below the cap that a piece of rope/parachord can be tied to if you have to lower the bottle to your water source. This is my third one, one for me, two for gifts. It is a little heavy for day hiking but extremely durable for a long trip.
Pros:
- well made
- cap is detachable
- large mouth
- can be used to cook in or boil water
Cons:
- A little heavy but not bad
