Easy install on psa ak-47 but lots of movement - VISM AK-Platform M-LOK Handguard with 1913 Picatinny

I only needed the top part (gas tube cover) so I could 'scout mount' a red dot on a PSA AK. Fit perfectly fine but slightly loose left to right and no way to tighten (does not move forward or back though nor required ‘fitment’ to install). 10+/- degrees of rotation was way too much to hold zero in my opinion. Decided easiest fix was use a little epoxy putty underneath. It ain’t wiggling now ;). If I ever did want to reverse gas tubes are plenty cheap enough if I cannot break the epoxy off.

But yes, you could spend $150 for a mount that accomplishes the same thing without needing to redneck engineer it. But then you probably are not rocking a $500 AK either.

For the price 5 stars, for the product (regardless of price) 3 stars as it should fit snug if they are going to put a top rail.
