Good for small caliber rifles - NcSTAR Illuminated A.O. Rifle Scope - 6-24x50AOE Red Dot / Green / Ring SEFD62450G Rifle Scope

Placed this scope on my savage 30-06. Could not get scope to hold zero. Did three shot patterns. Held for two then would be way off by 6-8 inches. Thought it might be ammo problem. Switched ammo, didn't solve problem. Changed back to old scope (3-9x50 simmons) and could drill nails at 200 yards. Used high rise mounts that came with setup on both scopes. Placed the scope on my 22LR and held zero all day long. Guess the scope could not handle big bore calibers.
Pros: Works great on 22LR
Cons: Didn't hold zero on large caliber rifle
