This set up is certainly the best for the money at $50 shipped, and may even be the best optic set for an A2 for uner $200 dollars or so. The mount is ROCK solid in the handle of my DMPS A2, and it didnt seem like it needed to be cranked down with anything harder than fingertip force to do so. In addition to being a good mounting system for this scope, I feel like it could definitely be used to mount other scopes of similar size. The iron sights are still completely usable through the hollow part of the mount which is a big plus. The scope seems to be of good overall quality, aside from the rheostat being kind of difficult to turn there are no real issues. The P4 reticle's hash marks are pretty useful for shooting at distance. The crosshairs are a bit wide, but I doubt anyone's buying this scope for 300+ yard tackdriving anyway. The IR is a nice feature for low light shooting and I've actually found myself using it a few times to good effect. Another big plus about this scope is how short it is. While its length limits eye relief, the plus side of this is that produces it a very bright picture, significantly brighter than the rest of my mounted optics. After mounting it, my rifle shot a 0.49 in. group at 105 yards with factory ammo, so overall I'd say this scope exceeded my expectations.
Pros: Price, simplicity, versatility, mount, and overall quality.
Cons: Limited eye relief
