This product came exactly as advertised. If you are not comfortable with removing material from this product to get a correct fit either take it to a professional or do not buy it. Using a Drexel with both a cutting but and a sanding/grinding bit I managed to remove enough material from the two front tangs as well as remove material from the roof of the reciever shroud and the actual fastener hole for the rear pin. This process take patience, the right tools, and either bravery or smithing or armorer experience. Also, this product cost me about $32 at time of purchase so as far as bravery goes? It doesn't hurt too bad if you screw it up. It not an AimPoint. This product definitely took some time and a couple beers but that was EXPECTED when I READ THE DESCRIPTION and WATCHED THE NCSTAR VIDEO. I also used my eyeballs when I opened the product and realized that a portion of it it made out of un-finished CAST STEEL. Cast, not milled. This thing is by no means perfect out of box. But ill be damned if by the time I finished it, applied loctite on the set screws, attached my optic, and cycled the bolt if it wasn't the nicest looking and best fitting reciever cover on any SKS I've ever held. It is solid and tight. I expect it to last a long time. Fully reccomend to those who are willing to put in the work. I have the Norinco Type56 SKS variant with a Tapco Kit on it.
