Monarch 3 riflescope 1-4x german reticle - Nikon Monarch 3 1-4x20mm Rifle Scope

Scope is made in the Philippines.

I don't see much difference in clarity vs a new Leupold Vx-2 (2-7x33) I have as well. This is with hunting levels of light each at 4 power.
I am using it on a 444 Marlin lever action. I have sighted it in and found the adjustments to have a nice positive "click" and the bullet impact moved as expected. The adjustment knobs seem a little big to me for a hunting scope but they are quite substantial and solid. Seems to stay as adjusted (zeroed). Scope came with front and back flip up lens covers.
A word of note, the German reticle is thicker than what many other reticles are. I purchased this for hunting and shooting to about 150 yards. It is heavy in comparison to some of the others. It weighs 12.1 oz. VX-2 1-4 (8.1 oz) and VX-3 1.5-5 (9.3 oz).

I have not yet used it under hunting conditions.
