Most Helpful Positive Review Scope for a Savage Mark 2 w/ accutrigger
I had never put this kind of money in a .22 scope before but decided it was time due to the squirrel infestation of my fruit trees. It has turned out to be a very usable gun and scope combination. The ten yard parallax and 9 power is perfect for small game in my area. Over 100 squirrels so far, all head shots. Highly recommend using a benchrest to sight in this scope. Also find the ammo manufacturer that best shoots in your gun. And if the gun is new, get it broke in. This scope with a benchrest will show up the problems with the gun or ammo, but once you get it worked out, you will have an in...

Lovely view, you know you read reviews and you get the meh! syndrome? not this scope. i bought it for a buck89 and it tracks dang well.
i'd buy this model scope again when the need arises.for my Air rifle and a .22.
OP.com needs to package their scopes better. heck PA packaged my pellet tins better than this scope arrived. just had to mention this.

Nikon 3x9 EFR 22 RF scope

by Ralph, from SC, United States Written on February 26, 2018
This is the best scope I have ever had on a 2RF. It has all the right features - especially short distance focus / parallax adjustment - with crisp optics. Pricy for a 22 RF scope but worth every penny. No negatives at all. I will be buying another one.
Pros:
  • optic quality, adjustable objective
Cons:
  • non
Best Used for:
  • any 22 RF application where accuray is valued

Why skimp on a rimfire scope?

by RedneckEngineer, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on February 23, 2018
I buy Zeiss, Nightforce, Weaver, and Leupold for my centerfire rifles. I've learned not to skimp on glass. I shoot my 22 more than all my other rifles combined between target and varmint control so why not put something decent on it. This scope is definitely something decent and a great bang for the buck. A 22 scope actually needs parallax adjustment more than the majority of centerfire applications with shots often ranging from 5 to 100 yards and on very small targets that require higher magnification.

A comment on another review, I'm farsighted and I have no problem with the reticle at all on this scope.
Pros:
  • Clarity
  • Variable power
  • parallax adjustment
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Precision 22LR
  • target
  • Varmint

Great scope

by Greybeard, Verified Owner from IN, United States Written on June 2, 2017
This scope is the best rimfire scope I have ever owned. The optics are very clear and very bright and I really like the reticle design. Being able to dial the parallax adjustment to as close as 10 yards greatly enhances the clarity which is necessary for rimfire scopes. I compared to standard rifle scopes costing far more, Leopold and Vortex to name a few, that did not equal the clarity or brightness that this scope offers.
You cannot go wrong with this scope for rimfire guns.
Pros:
  • cost
  • Design
  • clarirty
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • rimfire rifles

Mounted on a CZ 452 22lr American best combination for this gun. Nothing Compares to there target dot reticle. Also have a Ruger M77 22mag.Target and its mounted with a Leupold 3x9 EFR the Nikon it's much clearer and with the fast Focus at your fingertips blows it out of the water sorry Leupold you just overpriced yourself out of this market...
Pros:
  • ery high quality optic and construction

Target EFR

by Terry Williams, Verified Owner from AL, United States Written on March 27, 2017
I now own three of these scopes. Most of my scopes are Leupold but this is a good compromise price wise. The only negative is the reticle. The dot covers tiny target dots at 50 yards which makes it difficult for precise shooting.

Excellent Optics!

by Cal, Verified Owner from MD, United States Written on September 3, 2016
Ordered this scope for a HW30S Deluxe airgun based on previous recommendations of the quality of this scope.
I was not disappointed! Optics are crystal clear; even in low light. I like the fact that Nikon offers a lifetime warranty on the scope; this is especially important when using it on an air-rifle.
I also like the windage and elevation turrets' zeroing capability. My more expensive Vortex Diamondback doesn't have this feature.
