Pacskin for increased gripage on shotgun pistolgrip - Pachmayr PacSkin - The Ultimate Gun Gripping Surface

I wanted to build up a narrow and slippery shotgun pistol grip and selected a 5" x 11" PacSkin sheet for the job. I used a piece of heavy paper to create a template for a good fit using a hobby knife, planning to have the seam running down the rear of the grip. I traced around the template with a stick pin to mark the resulting shape onto the backing paper, then cut the PacSkin with the hobby knife. I sliced and removed a strip of the backing paper from the center of the cut shape corresponding to the front of the grip and placed the PacSkin into place. Then I removed both of the remaining backing paper pieces and pressed the remainder of the grip cover into place, meeting at the rear of the grip. I have saved the added adhesive strips provided for later in case the PacSkin edges ever come loose. The result is a much more secure grip. Overall, I rate PacSkin a good product.
