Great light that justifies its price - Pelican Recoil 2410 Submersible LED Flashlight w/ Black Finish 2410C

In my adventures (geocaching, night hikes, roadside tire changes, caving, abandoned mine exploration, Snow Survival) I have gone through a number of flashlights. However this light has been my favorite thus far.

The construction is extremely rugged. I've dropped it, tossed it, sat on it, and driven off with it on the roof of my car, with only cosmetic damage.

The beam is amazing. It has the brightness and intensity of a good LED but Pelican has managed to colminate it into a nice tight beam.

My only beef with this light is that I tweaked the switch mechanism once while screwing the head back on. However, witha quick examination of the problem, was able to fix it infield without any tools.

Overall a great, lightweight light.
Pros: Bright, Tight Beam; Rugged; Waterproof
Cons: Switch construction a bit fragile
