Great optic, not so great reticle - Pride Fowler Industries USO-PFI BLK USO SR-6 -1.5-6x28mm, PFI BLK Combat Reticle Scope

This is wonderful piece of glass coming from US Optics as to be expected, however the PFI Reticle leaves quite a bit to be desired. I found the subsonic side to match up quite well to most commercial ammo as well as my 208ge-240gr handloads through live fire testing and the use of accurate ballistics tables through JBM. However a problem arose on the supersonic side with trajectories not matching up to the reticle graduations at all. I was seeing discrepancies of anywhere between 4 MOA to 12 MOA between 150-600 yards with a proven 110gr Barnes handload @2340fps as well as 125gr SMKs @2260fps. I came to the conclusion after determining I was zeroing the reticle correctly and through several emails with the company that they simply used the wrong BC for their drops on the supersonic side, don't know of another way to explain it. I returned the optic and exchanged it for a Trijicon TA-11 in 300 BLK that works perfectly with a variety of different subsonic and supersonic loadings and one which I would highly recommend for 300 Blackout.
