Great pants, nylon material with stretch, excellent freedom of motion for climbing, hiking, activity. Comfortable loose fit and true to size for me. I would call them summer and shoulder season weight. The STL 1 has more usable flap cargo thigh pockets and rear pockets than the STL 2, which is all zippers. Traded the green for the black, which looks nice.
