Although the flashlight is bright, it would not do well as a primary flashlight. It is good for a backup but I use it for a crime scene light to look at evidence before I get my primary UV light out. This is far more easier to use before I have to get the heavier equipment out as I can scan over evidence ahead of time. Highly recommend as a back up flashlight for a duty bag or police car.
Pros: compact
