I chose the Predator C5 for my new binoculars after using a cheaper set for the last ten years, and I am glad I did. I am using them for hunting and they are working great.
The downside is the size and weight; but that is the trade-off with quailty binoculars. I was surprised how large the 10x56 model was when I got them in the mail; however I am completely comfortable with them now after using them a couple of weeks. The sensitivity of the focus.wheel took some getting used to for me because it really gives you a lot of depth with very little turning.
The upside is the durability and attention to detail with the C5. The field of view is perect for my taste. The light gathering is great and the contoured eye cups give you even more visibility in low light situations. I have also found that I can view wildlife through these binoculars much longer than my scope, which is a highend scope.
I have really enjoyed this set of binoculars and have not regreted it at all after spending some time in the stand with them.
Pros: Ruggedness, light gathering, small details
Cons: Size and weight
