Lynch's Review of Sun Optics Springflield M1A mount
The mount itself is ok. But save your money and buy a battle rail. The mount is reliant upon 4 set screws, 2 vertical and two horizontal. I'm guessing the manufacturer of this mount didn't use a M1A as a refrence when designing the mount. The set screws have to be counter balanced, while maintaining positive pressure against the frame of the rife.. So no big deal right.
Wrong... After using the loctite, and after 300 rounds... The set screw found a way to flex. Thus, throwing off my zero and making me purchase a battle rail.
