Talley's have become my "go to" scope mounting setup. They are lightweight but durable. Their simplicity in construction minimizes the chances for something to come loose. My hunting travels take me to rugged spots in the western US and Alaska. Whether you are on a horse, airboat, snowmobile, or just backpacking, I have confidence my Talleys will give me an accurate shot. Also, their "quick release" version is solidly built. I have them on a 375 H&H and have put them thru much abuse. Testing them from irons to scope they mount up perfect every time.
I look to no other mounting system than the Talley's.
