These are/were the most accurate, easy to load bullets in any of the muzzleloader rifles I have. I have been fortunate to harvest more than 30 elk with a muzzleloader and these bullets would put an animal down. I've recovered many of the slugs from the elk and they mushroom to the size of a quarter. I wish they would either start producing the .54 cal bullet or provide the bullet molds for the 435 grain maxi hunter.
Pros:
- Easy to load, bullets mushroom unlike the maxi ball bullets. Accurate.
Cons:
- None other than you can't get them any longer.
Best Used for:
- Elk and deer.
