Look mom...no hands - Tipton Best Gun Vise

For years I have believed in "work smarter, not faster". That is, except when in came to maintaining my firearms. I would break down the gun with parts all over the place along with greasy rags. I don't know why I chose to do it that way, but I can tell you I hated cleaning my guns. I'll bet many you hate it as much as I did.

One day I was looking for some parts on Optics Planet, and I happen to come across the Tipton Best Gun Vise. I watched a video on You Tube and I decided to give it a try. All I can say is, Wow! All those years hating to clean my firearms was gone with my very first cleaning of my Versa Max using this Vise. It's like having another set of hands, and cleaning the gun thoroughly wasn't a chore anymore. Within a few minutes the gun was clean. And when I say clean, I mean cleaner than the gun had ever been before.

The Vise will hold any type or shape of firearm gently but firmly. Not only will the front and back of your gun beheld firmly; but the unit also has a middle rest for those of you that have very long guns. You don't have to worry about your finish being marred in any way, whether it is fine wood or synthetic. All the grips are nicely padded to protect your gun's finish.

Running a bore snake was so easy I could kick myself for not buying one of these years ago. Whatever position you want your gun to be cradled; this Gun Vise will hold it for you. When I used brushes to clean the barrel, I set it up so the barrel was facing down, and I placed a disposable container to catch all the debris. When I completed the job, my work area was as clean as when I started.

Did you ever wish you had someone to help you while you tried to replace your springs in your handgun, rifle, or even a magazine? I know I have had times I got very frustrated trying to replace a part of my firearms. This unit makes gun maintenance so much easier; and the time you spend will easily be cut in half. It has a nice weight to it and rubber feet, so it doesn't move all over the place. Best of all, it doesn't say a word to you like your good buddy would do if he was helping you out. Have you ever heard someone say, "No, No, your using the wrong tool. You're doing it all wrong. Put the spring in the other way" etc,? Those days are gone when you use your Tipton Gun Vise. In fact, your friend might ask if he can borrow it. Just a suggestion...don't do it! You may never get it back.

When you unpack this you will see and feel what a superb piece of equipment this is.There are no sharp edges to get snagged on, or scratch your treasured firearm. And after you use it to clean your first gun; you will wonder how you managed without it. I know I did, and I don't ever want to work on my firearms without it.

It truly makes gun maintenance a pleasure rather than a chore. And even though many of you never clean your Glocks; you will want to after seeing how easy it is when you have an extra pair of hands.

This is a wonderful product that enables me to enjoy a day of shooting, and cleaning my guns so they look brand new. No one can clean a gun as well if they are not using this fine accessory, and replacing parts is a breeze.
