After getting these sights for my wife’s Glock 19, I bought the same sights for my Springfield XD45 Compact. I couldn’t be happier with them. They are easy to pick up in light or darkness.

Beautifully lit. Day/night transition. Got tired of buying multiple off brand night sights, so I went the SP01 Trijicon amd feel confident I won't have to buy new ones soon. Worth every bit of the money spent. I would likey recommend this SP01 Trijicon tritium night sights to my friends and/or family.

Sights were new and bright and fit correctly. Use of a sight pusher is recommended as XD dovetails are notoriously tight. This is my 4th set of Trijicons (4 different applications) and have yet to be disappointed.

Recomend insight a sight too as the XDM sights are very tight. Used the wheelers armorer's sight tool to remove and install the sights. I did need to use a small hammer with light taps on the side of the tool to move the sights. Very nice sights and good for low or no light situtations.

I purchase these Trijicon Night Sights for my Springfield XD Sub-Compact, yellow for the rear, green for the front. Had them professionally installed and I love them, very bright in low light, or complete darkness. I would recommend these and buy another set for my next firearm purchase.
Pros:
- Bright tritium, perfect sight picture, durable.
- white focus ring easier to see in the daytime

Trijicon makes great sights I've been running them for years and have installed a lot of them, mostly on Glocks. This is the first one I've installed on the Springfield XD. Springfield (in my experience) runs their sights very tight, even with the right tools they are a bear to remove. Oddly the Springfield rear sight was tough coming off but the Trijicon went on smooth. Just the opposite for the front. The Springfield sight came off easily but the first Trijicon broke when I tried to put it on (possibly lulled into a false sense of security from the ease of the rear sight, I clear ly pushed it too hard). Yes I was using a sight pusher. Two reasons, the front sight is small so inherently fragile, second the first Trijicon front sight was about 0.006" wider (across the dovetail) than the factory sight. I bought this replacement and it was still 0.004" larger than the factory sight. So I stoned it down by about 2-3 thou to get it to fit. Also the front sight has a taper, that's hard to notice, that requires a Left to Right installation, I missed that the first time and it's not in the instructions. I shouldn't have to work that hard to install the sight. I was really surprised Trijicon customer service didn't help out, it was my rough handling for sure, but I shouldn't have fit the sight.

Typical superior quality expected from Trijicon. Easy to install. Perfect brightness in low light. Stays put even in hard use, yet still adjustable to fine-tune for accuracy. These are a must for any pistol to be used for personal defense. Buy with confidence.
Best Used for:
- low light conditions
- Service or duty

I was upset at first, they didn't seem bright straight out of the package and I thiught about sending them back. After sitting around on the dresser for a day, they got really bright and now I have to keep them under a pillow at night to sleep because they are so bright. Very bright in the dark, gives a definite sight alignment in low light situations. You will still need to see the target to hit it. Get a light too.

What can I say? It's a Trijicon! High quality and excellent for low/no light conditions. Need to take it to a gunsmith for removal and installation of the sights on Springfield guns - the sights are tight on the gun. You won't be disappointed with this.

These sights are very good. i have had them for almost 3 years now (XD 45). a slight problem is that they are starting to dim. i also have the Heavy Duty night sight on my 9mm XDS...these are much brighter. both work well in the day and my 9mm (Heavy Duty sights)is better at night. I had the both pairs sights installed by professional gunsmiths and I will continue to do so. For me it is worth the cost.
Cons:
- beginning to go dim after 2 years
