This is the smallest and best built laser sight i've owned - TruGlo Micro-Tac Micro-Tac Tactical Green Laser

This is the smallest and best built laser sight I've owned; and interestingly one of the lowest cost. I've had many through the years and the TruGlo is my new favorite (I've purchased six so far for my current "ready active" handguns; two from Amazon and four from Optics Planet). I'm even going to install these on two of my Sig P220's that have Trijicon Dual Illumination "Red Dot Night Sights". At 65+ you can't have too much assistance in accurate sight picture acquisition.

I believe green lasers are the best for day/night use and I prefer the pulse mode vs steady (brings your eyes to the target quicker). The Micro-Tac also has a power "Auto-Off" feature which I think is critical for any battery powered sight.

The one thing I would like TruGlo to offer is the additional packaged six cell battery pack the unit comes with. I ordered a supply of the LR626 batteries, but I can see the loading of the six individual replacement batteries will be a little more delicate then just inserting a shrink wrapped single unit battery pack of six cells.
