Pvs-14 white phosphor gen 3 - TRYBE Optics GEN 3 PVS-14 Night Vision Monocular

I did a lot of research before purchasing this product. Trybe was a unknown brand to me but they use pinnacle tubes for their NV optics so I felt pretty safe. I am very impressed with the unit. The tube is rated as a level three meaning their is a certain amount of spots or blemishes allowed in the tube. The blemish in my tube is a very small dot in zone 2 of the field of view. I do not believe that Trybe builds these optics but they are outsourced to Elbit systems, or at least that is the name on the data sheet. Elbit has been making NV optics for a while and is a brand I would trust (they're also the parent company to Harris). White phosphor is the way to go if you can afford the extra money to buy one. WP offers a higher level of contrast over Green and provides a higher level of detail in the environment. I wish Trybe or Optics planet would put in the description that Elbit systems is the manufacturer, that would probably help them sell more units. I also wish they they would include an option to not include the headband mount, most people buying these already have helmets and I would have rather saved 25 dollars and the 4 seconds it took me to walk to the trash can to throw the mount away, then to have it.
