This is a great size panel that fits most of my backpacks well. The Vertex bags get narrow at the top and so their sizing is a bit proprietary, but I found this panel fits comfortably in my Vertx Gamut Overland. I also have an old Lowe Pro DSLR Video Pack 350 AW and this fits in the laptop pocket perfectly maxed out. Have not ballistically tested the panel though.
