BumpStep XL review
Glad I chose Optics Planet to buy my BumpStep XL for my new SUV. It was easy to install, looks and functions as advertised!
Best Used for:
- Bumper protection and a strong stepping platform..

Works well with a longer bolt
The bumper step is nice. Well made as other Weather Tech products I have purchased. I did have to purchase a longer bolt as the one included was not long enough for a solid fit. I read the same complaint on reviews before purchasing so be prepared to purchase an additional 4” bolt if you buy this product. Glad I got it though. The step makes access to the back of my camper van much more stable.

Very fast shipping, and step arrived in original packing in perfect shape. Price was cheaper than anywhere else I checked. I will definitely use Optics Planet again. Great company to do business with.

XL Bump Stop
I ordered this as I have a short driveway that barely fits my 4 wheel drive truck and the XL Bump Stop will be my ‘safety bumper’ when I get close to the house when backing up to park and prevent me from touching the house with the hitch receiver, which I’ve done on several occasions. I’m sure this wasn’t a thought when you guys designed but when I saw it, it was perfect for me.

Husband loved it. Getting too old to climb in back of truck this is the way to go.
