Jim's Review of Weaver Quad Lock Rings

This posting online is deceiving. I used the website to specify a 1" tube and for my 30-30 rifle. Nothing in the description says this is for a .22. What arrived was indeed a Weaver 49053, but says 1" .22 Tip Off Rings. No clue where Weaver was getting 1" from, as the ring diameter is 3/4". Obviously something is very wrong. This will not fit my 1" scope, not is it built for a 30-30 rifle or anything beyond a .22 caliber. Do not make my mistake. these are going back.

  • Says 1" scope on package but actually for 3/4" scope tube
Best Used for:
  • .22 3/4" rifle scope
