Reviews & Ratings for Zenit PK-06 Red Dot w/ Weaver Mount
— 7 reviews — Page 1
If you bought this optic because it's the best thing to hit the Tarkov exclusionary zone since canned beef stew, go ahead and hit that subscribe button. Then be prepared to be disappointed by what may possibly be the worst collimator ever created. Honestly not sure if I received an authentic PK-06 or if it's just really that bad of an optic. I actually returned one of these with a different vendor and picked one up on OP (it was cheaper and would ship faster) for two reasons: A.) the auto-brightness setting wasn't functioning and B.) because it didn't come with the hex wrenches depicted or ref...

Not real.. I have a real one, like the other review says, mine says nk-06 on the side not pk-06. I like mine, works well. I bought it used and he bought it off an importer in Canada. I use it as a secondary back up sight.

Better sights out there. Press the on button 5 to 10 times and it comes on randomly. Works fine once you get it on. A lot of reflection from the glass. Adjusted where I wanted without issue but not sure whether it will hold. Yet to try it live. For the money I hope it bloody well works. Russian pos.

Firstly, ZenitCo doesn't make the PK-06, BelOMO does. So that was the first sign. Then after looking into it a bit more, I think I can firmly say that this isn't a real PK-06. Just a few things that pop out in no particular order -
There is no brand marking on the top of the sight hood.
It says "PK-06" on the side, a real PK-06 has cyrillic on the side that looks more like "nk-06".
The off/brightness toggle markings look far larger than on a real PK-06.
There is also no marking above the drainage hole on the left side, like there is on a real PK-06.

placed on my AK pistol as soon as it came in.. when i tried to zero at the range, 2 of the 3 adjustment screws broke. the power button would occasionally stick and take multiple presses just to turn on. it doesn’t come with batteries but they aren’t hard to find on amazon or anywhere else online. looks nice but that’s about it..
Best Used for:

I have owned two of these optics and both have broken in less than 1k rounds through a pcc. The first on stopped holding zero after 300 rounds and the replacements windage screw crept its way out and was lost in less than 100 rounds when it was supposed to be locked. If you want a cool looking sight for Instagram go ahead but if you want a practical red dot look elsewhere
Pros:
Looks cool
Cons:
Breaks easy
Best Used for:
Larping

Out of the box this sight had issues. The rubber button cover had come detached at some point and one of the weaver retention nuts were deformed, making it impossible to secure to a rail without replacing it. For its price point there should be some sort of quality assurance, but the sight was clearly used or of very low quality.
Pros:
None
Cons:
Doesnt work at all.
Best Used for:
paper weight
