Yes, the Samson True Back Up Front & Rear Sights sit at a 1.4" absolute co-witness height, which is ideal for the AR platform. The 0.160 aperture will be ideal for closer range targets which translates well for the AR9 platform.

I decided to back up sights on my AR you never know when a battery will die. Zeroing the sights was petty easy. I'm not the best shot but bench sighting put me in a respectable range with theses 74 year old eyes.

Since these backup sights were never meant to be the primary aiming system, we did away with the dual apertures and went with a single .160 aperture which is small enough for accurate shooting yet large enough to still be of use in low-light. Accepts all aftermarket front sight post replacements with MIL-SPEC dimensions. Both front and rear backup sights lock in the folded and deployed position. The durable construction and solid mounting system guarantees you'll stay on-zero.image
