The Southwire 44670 Amp Up! 50A 30A Y Adapter, Straight Blade receptacle, Y leads to a Y-shape that is installed between the main receptacle and the second receptacle on a branch circuit, typically a 30A service. The Y Adapter converts a 30A service to 50A, allowing the full use of air conditioners and appliances. With three prong outlets, the Amp Up Adapter receptacle can be easily turned on or off simply by connecting the correct plug ends together. It is manufactured for use with 30A and 50A service only, and should not be used with 30A and 50A service. The Y adapter should only be used with RVs equipped with breakers.image
