The adapter plate attaches a laser diode module (DBAL-D) to a MIL-STD-1913 (Std Rail) equipped firearm via the provided MIL-STD-1913 rail adapter, allowing users to attach a variety of accessories via the MIL-STD-1913 Rail Adapter without the need to drill or use any additional adapters. The Steiner eOptics Accessory Adapter Plate for DBAL-I2 fits a standard MIL-STD-1913 flat top rail and is required to use a night vision monocular with a DBAL-I2 laser as the primary source of light.
