The Sufix Advance High Performance Leaders use a proprietary gel phace technology that results in the ultimate fluorocarbon leader in performance, clarity and UV protection. Gel phace technology is applied to the lining surface to cause a cross-section that exhibits a desirable degree of gloss or "strike-through" effects. It then over-wraps onto the core thereby preventing frayed ends on the leader. Also the color of the underlying monofilament line is permanently changed by the dye lot. This process results in clearer more consistent leaders. You'll see minimal line memory effect so that you can instantly see what's happening when you make a cast.
