High quality/ high dollar accessory by Legacy Reviewer, May 2, 2009

I purchasd this for a Remington 870 20 gauge shotgun only to find out this is a 12 gauge only part. Nothing on the site indicated this was for 12 gauge only. Pros: Very good quality, rugged, reliable Cons: Almost expensive as the weapon I put it on!

SureFire 618LF Dedicated Forend Shotgun LED WeaponLight is a rugged forend with integrated LED WeaponLight replaces your Remington 870's original factory forend. The 618LF LED Shotgun Light by SureFire features two separate ergonomic switches integrated directly into the polymer forend: a pressure-sensitive activation pad for momentary light use, and a constant-on/off rocker switch. The WeaponLight's solid-state light emitting diode (with no filament to burn out or break) is virtually immune to the effects of recoil and impact, and generates 80 lumens of blinding white light - enough to temporarily overwhelm the night-adapted vision of an aggressor. And it continues producing tactical-level lighting for over three hours on a single set of disposable SureFire lithium 123A batteries. Optics Planet also carries the 618LFG, with the same features as the 618LF but adds a system disable rocker switch.
