The TRX-4 Triple Port Muzzle Brake is designed to redirect muzzle blast in a manner that minimizes muzzle rise and potential muzzle signature. Manufactured with the popular 1/2x28 TPI XVIII spec, this muzzle brake features an aggressively ribbed base for added grip while still maintaining a fine tuned porting system that reduces muzzle climb and recoil. This combined with the TRX-4's precision machined OD front port gives the shooter a great overall system. In dual port models, the recoil reduction is aided by the redirection of muzzle blast in a manner that lessens muzzle climb while still maintaining the superb muzzle control of the TRX-4. In single port models, the recoil control is aided by the 2 chambers (short and long) that alternate the direction of gas flow. The highly efficient TRX-4 triple port design provides the shooter with superb recoil reduction by redirecting muzzle blast away from the shooter and down range. This results in the shooter retaining the control of recoil, while the X-band and center ring reduce recoil to a minimum. Add a simple jam nut and you have a great muzzle brake system.
